The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District will host middle school promotion ceremonies for its Classes of 2024 from Dual Language Academy of the Monterey Peninsula, La Mesa TK-8 School, Los Arboles Middle School, Monte Vista TK-8 School, and Seaside Middle School on Thursday, May 30, 2024

As your current 8th grader (incoming 9th grader) prepares to embark on their high school journey, we invite your child to a transformative opportunity: MPUSD's Summer Bridge Program (at your child's future high school).

During the month of May, the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District is recognizing the importance of National Mental Health Awareness Month.

MPUSD and its schools will recognize Spring Break March 18 - 29, 2024. Our TK-12 schools will be closed and school will not be in session. We wish everyone a restful Spring Break.

This school year (2023-2024), MPUSD has doubled down on its reading efforts launching a “Reading is Key” literacy initiative focused on helping students achieve fluency in phonics to reach its reading goal.
