Message from the Superintendent on Health and Safety at our Schools: As we close the second full week of instruction, I wanted to express how excited we are to return to in person instruction and how proud I am of our school community's efforts to return to school safely. Your child's health and well being is our top priority, and I want to update you on our current health mitigation efforts, as well as increased support we are working to provide in the coming weeks.

The school year is off to a great start and it has been wonderful to see students and staff back on campuses across the district. As we continue transitioning into our new normal, we are also mindful that COVID-19 is still in our community and that communities are seeing a rise in the Delta variant. MPUSD welcomes students and staff back to school in person, five days a week on Wednesday, August 4. The district hosts a virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, July 28 in English (5 p.m.) and Spanish (6 p.m.) to learn more.
