Hello DLAMP Community,
DLAMP School Site Council is looking for parents or community members to join SSC Committee for the 2026-2027 school year! Would you or someone you know be interested in serving on DLAMP's School Site Council as a parent or community representative? To nominate yourself or a fellow parent/community member, you may submit the name on the attached Parentsquare form or stop by the office for a paper ballot by Friday, August 21, 2026. Nominated names will be sorted and a ballot will be created and shared with our school community at a later date.
School Site Council (SSC):
School Site Council (SSC) is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent representatives who serve a two-year term. They meet eight times a year to oversee the implementation of various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs. The School Site Council is a governing body that is responsible for deciding how school money is spent in order to improve the instructional program at DLAMP. Each school in the district receives a different amount of money, based on enrollment. The School Site Council members work together to set goals for improving student achievement at DLAMP and allocating the funds to accomplish those goals. Agendas for meetings are posted on our school website at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and meeting minutes will be posted after SSC has approved them. Meetings will be held via Zoom or in person. All parents and members of the public are welcome to attend meetings.
