¡Bienvenidos Lobos!
I am so excited to welcome all of our wonderful families to the 2025-2026 school year at the Dual Language Academy of the Monterey Peninsula (DLAMP)—home of the Lobos, where we’re all about Building Bilingual Brilliance!
This year is extra special for me as I begin my 10th year here at DLAMP. It has truly been an honor to watch so many of our students grow from curious little learners into confident bilingual and biliterate leaders, ready to take on the world.
At DLAMP, we’re proud of our 90/10 Dual Immersion program that helps our Lobos become fluent in both English and Spanish, while also learning to appreciate and celebrate diverse cultures. Our program doesn’t just prepare students for middle school and high school—it sets them up to one day earn the California State Seal of Biliteracy on their diplomas and even receive college credit for all their hard work during their TK-8 years. Talk about opening doors for the future!
We’re also thrilled to continue into our second year with our newcomer program and our Community Schools Grant, giving us even more ways to support and connect with our amazing families.
This year, we’d love to see even more parents and families volunteering and getting involved on campus—whether it’s helping in classrooms, joining us for special events, or lending your voice in school committees. Your partnership makes a world of difference and helps our Lobo community shine even brighter!
Our dedicated teachers and staff can’t wait to partner with you for another fantastic year of learning, laughter, and growing together. Thank you for trusting us with your children—it’s going to be another wonderful year in our Lobo family!

Estoy muy emocionada de dar la bienvenida a todas nuestras maravillosas familias al año escolar 2025-2026 en la Dual Language Academy of the Monterey Peninsula (DLAMP), hogar de los Lobos, donde nos enfocamos en ¡Construir Brillantez Bilingüe!
Este año es especialmente significativo para mí, ya que comienzo mi décimo año aquí en DLAMP. Ha sido un verdadero honor ver crecer a tantos de nuestros estudiantes, desde pequeños curiosos hasta líderes seguros de sí mismos, bilingües y alfabetizados en dos idiomas, listos para conquistar el mundo.
En DLAMP, estamos orgullosos de nuestro programa de Doble Inmersión 90/10, que ayuda a nuestros Lobos a dominar tanto el inglés como el español, mientras aprenden a apreciar y celebrar culturas diversas. Nuestro programa no solo prepara a los estudiantes para la secundaria y la preparatoria, sino que también les abre la puerta para obtener el Sello Estatal de Alfabetización Bilingüe en sus diplomas y hasta recibir créditos universitarios por todo su esfuerzo durante los años de TK a 8º grado. ¡Una verdadera oportunidad para el futuro!
También estamos encantados de continuar con nuestro segundo año del programa para recién llegados y con la subvención de Community Schools, lo que nos permite ofrecer aún más apoyo y conexión a nuestras increíbles familias.
Este año, nos encantaría ver aún más padres y familias participando como voluntarios y colaborando en el campus, ya sea ayudando en los salones de clase, acompañándonos en eventos especiales o aportando su voz en los comités escolares. ¡Su participación hace una gran diferencia y ayuda a que nuestra comunidad Lobo brille aún más!
Nuestros dedicados maestros y personal están ansiosos por asociarse con ustedes en otro año fantástico de aprendizaje, alegría y crecimiento en conjunto. Gracias por confiar en nosotros con sus hijos—¡va a ser otro maravilloso año en nuestra familia Lobo!
