Recipients were joined by MCOE Superintendent Dr. Deneen Guss and MPUSD Superintendent Dr. P.K. Diffenbaugh, along with several county and school district leaders.
- Lloyd Tanseco, Lead Program Developer, MPUSD Information Technology Department
- David Correia, Jr., Community Liaison at Walter Colton Middle School
- Pam Aliotti, Café Manager at Monterey High School
All three recipients were given a $500 check and an invitation to the county awards ceremony to be held at Embassy Suites in Seaside on May 3, 2022 at 5 p.m.
Those who are awarded at the county level have a chance to be selected for entry into the California Department of Education's Classified School Employee of the Year awards and receive recognition at the state level.
MPUSD is also honoring our classified and certificated employees in a weekly segment called 'Why I Work Where I Work' and 'Why I Teach Where I Teach.'
